BADIM 12: May Glossy Box!

Hello Sweet Peas!

Welcome to day 12 of Blog a Day in May!

It’s that time of the month again! It’s time for a Glossy Box full of goodies. This months box is my favourite design yet! The beautiful pastel clouds and the word daydreamer are my aesthetic to a T. Let’s go through the rest of the products!

SPOILER! If you haven’t seen this months box yet, and you don’t want to know what’s inside LOOK AWAY NOW!

The first product out of the box is the True Soft Shampoo by Maria Nila, this one comes as a pair with the second product which is the True Soft Conditioner. Because let’s face it you can’t have on without the other. These samples are decent travel size, which is one of the main things I love about Glossy Box, they are not stingy with the size of their products (like other subscription boxes I could mention). The products are completely vegan and cruelty-free! This is really important to me, I try really hard to use products that haven’t been tested on animals. It’s sometimes hard as any product that has elements made in China will have been tested on animals as that is the law in that country. But we do what we can! The formula is sulphate free (check out my healthy hair post for why this is important!) It softens, moisturises and strengthens hair. What more could you want! These products are generally around £5 each.

The next product is the Praline Palette from Trifle Cosmetics. This palette is so diddy and cute, it is the perfect size to travel with! Summer is just around the corner and the holidays are rolling in so it came just in time! The colour pay off isn’t as good as some other eyeshadows I have tried, but it will be great for everyday looks when you don’t want dramatic eyeshadow, but rather a subtle hint of colour. The shades are beautiful as well! Can’t say I will be using the little applicator that came with it, I’m more of a brush girl myself, but it’s nice to have! Once again, this product is completely vegan! This palette is normally £15.55! Reason number 2 why I love Glossy Box!

Next up is the Facial Makeup Remover from KueshiI’m not going to lie, I spent a good five minutes playing with the bottle when I first received my box. The product has two layers of liquid and as you move the bottle the two layers move but don’t merge. it’s very fascinating and fun to play with! Aside from this, the product used soft oils to remove your makeup gently, promising to remove even waterproof mascara! This product is normally around £10.50, which is more than I would normally spend on a makeup remover so very excited to try this out to see whether I should be!

Last from the box is the product I am most looking forward to testing! Just For Feet – Luxury Jelly Foot Soak from Jelspa! If I was fascinated with the makeup remover bottle, it is nothing compared to how curious I am about this product! It contains two sachets. The first one turns ordinary water into jelly instantly! Then the second turns it back into the water so that you can dispose of it safely. How cool and sciencey does that sound! Plus, my feet are in desperate need of some pampering. I walk half a mile to work every day and don’t my feet know about it! (I also stood on what I thought was a nail the other day. Turns out it was a sharp piece of bark! It went straight through my shoe and into my foot! What’s that all about? Tetanus shot anyone?). Each one use treatment is £5, but if it does what it promises I will happily be repurchasing!
